Deliverables of this Smooth Start Upgrade Offering

Task 1 - Conduct an on-site survey. The objective of this task is to identify and document the existing Kofax Ascent Capture installation and system architecture.

Task 2 - Document specific upgrade process. The objective of this task is to analyse the site survey report, identify and document in the form of a 'Scope of Work' the most appropriate Kofax Ascent Capture Upgrade process taking into account the batch classes and system constraints.

Task 3 - Backup existing Kofax Ascent Capture system. The objective of this task is to backup the existing Kofax Ascent Capture system including batch class definitions and the Ascent Capture database.

Task 4 - Upgrade Kofax Ascent Capture server / standalone system. The objective of this task is to upgrade one (1) existing Kofax Ascent Capture server or standalone system to version 6.

Task 5 - Upgrade Kofax Ascent Capture Client The purpose of this task is to upgrade a single Kofax Ascent Capture Client.

Task 6 - Perform post upgrade testing. The objective of this task is to verify that a successful upgrade has been achieved and image capture can re-commence.

Kofax Ascent Software Upgrade - Conditions.

1. Customers must have legal entitlement of Kofax Ascent Capture version 6 before the 'Fixed Price' Smooth Start service can commence. The cost of Kofax Ascent Capture licences are outside of this offering but e-ASL are happy to provide prices.
2. The e-ASL £2,000 Smooth Start offering is for each/per Kofax Ascent Capture system.
3. Prices are exclusive of VAT and personal expenses such as travel and accommodation will be recovered at cost.

Note: The price of £2,000 is 'per/each Kofax system upgrade, (some customers have more than one environment), e-ASL will invoice your company £2,000 plus VAT per upgraded system at completion of the implementation, plus actual costs of expenses such as travel, accommodation, and per diem.
